Asking others for recognition is a terribly embarrassing thing to do.

I always feel extraordinarily self-conscious when asking people to recommend me every Tuesday for the Humour category. I figure that if people reallyenjoyed my website then they would go about recommending me by their own means. However, since it is so important to me to get my writing out there for people to see, I always find myself asking you all again every Tuesday for the same thing.

Hence my self-loathing.
