Legalize Ewok Marriage

In many countries throughout the world it is still illegal for two Ewoks to wed. Even though we are living in the 21st century, people still believe that marriage should be restricted to “the union between a man and a woman” and because of this very few governments recognise Ewok couples. This is a terrible injustice that needs correcting.

Why should Ewok marriage be made legal?

Whether it’s love between a man and a woman, a man and a horse, an Ewok and another Ewok or a Wookiee and a Hutt - it is something that should not be denied. We have no right to refuse the mutual love between two beings. Therefore, why shouldn’t we recognise the marriage of two Ewoks?

Will Ewok marriage ruin the sanctity of marriage?

Of course not. If anything is ruining the ”sanctity” of marriage it is divorce. One in three marriages end in divorce, breaking the ”’til death to us part” vow that is taken when it begins. It is cheating, lies and divorce that ruins the institution of marriage, not Ewoks.

What about what The Bible says about Ewok marriage?

Regardless of what The Bible says about Ewok marriage, do you really think that God wouldn’t love Ewoks? They’re cute, loveable and fun-loving creatures and only the heartless or Ewokophobic dislike them. God was neither heartless OR Ewokophobic, so why would he condemn Ewok marriage?

Also, should we really live our lives based on a book written almost two thousand years ago?!

How can I show my support for Ewok marriage?

There are many things you can do to show your support for Ewok marriage. These include participating in Ewok Rights marches in your local cities, celebrating Ewok Pride Day and joining the ”Legalize Ewok Marriage” Facebook group.
